/ THE L.A.V.E. GRANT

The aims of the L.A.V.E. Grant

Since 1997, L.A.V.E., The European Volcanological Association, established a grant because it considers that it has to contribute, by its actions and resources, to a better understanding and diffusion of volcanology.
The L.A.V.E. grant intends to help one (or two) project(s) in various areas (Earth Sciences, Geography, Social Science, Art, History, etc…) related to volcanoes or volcanic hazard assessment. This grant is intended to be a perfect complement for studies funded by other public or private sources.
This scholarship is open to any natural or legal person. Past awardees of the scholarship cannot apply for a two-year period.
